By accessing or using Ship It Forge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, sellers, and buyers.
Ship It Forge is a platform where independent developers can list, share, and sell software tools, and where members can discover tools, participate in community discussions, and follow makers they admire.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You may not create accounts for the purpose of abuse, spam, or impersonation.
You retain ownership of content you submit to Ship It Forge — including tool listings, posts, comments, and profile information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Ship It Forge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.
When participating in communities, you agree not to post content that is: hateful, harassing, or threatening toward any individual or group; sexually explicit or pornographic; spam, advertising unrelated to the community topic; or designed to deceive or mislead other members. Ship It Forge reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.
Sellers retain full ownership of their tools. By listing a tool, you grant Ship It Forge a license to display and promote it on the platform. Sellers receive 85% of each sale; Ship It Forge retains a 15% platform fee. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for delivering what is described, and for providing reasonable support to buyers.
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact admin@shipitforge.com within 7 days of purchase with your reason. Ship It Forge does not guarantee that any tool will meet your specific requirements. Digital goods are non-returnable once accessed unless a seller-specific refund policy states otherwise.
You may not use the Service to: list or distribute malware, spyware, or harmful code; infringe any third-party intellectual property rights; scrape or harvest user data without permission; attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems; or engage in any activity that disrupts or degrades the Service for others.
Ship It Forge respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to admin@shipitforge.com with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) identification of the allegedly infringing content and its location on the Service; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorised; and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf. We will respond to valid notices promptly.
Ship It Forge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting admin@shipitforge.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Content you posted in communities may remain visible at our discretion.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ship It Forge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
